Good evening everyone, I have a question in my project and I need your help if possible. The question is:
    • Checksum is used by various protocols on the Internet, but not at the one of TCP / IP layers. Explain.
I got confused while I'm searching about it, I search in some sites, and I found that all layers have their own checksum.

The IP and TCP layers both have checksums in IPv4, but only the TCP layer in IPv6. See the following Stack Exchange questions for more detail.
